Getting help

Email us at support@lumitekexchange.co.zw — we reply within two working days.

Sent a PIN that failed? Recharge4Me does not sell airtime and cannot credit, refund or replace a voucher. Take the card and the message you received to your network's own customer care — they are the only ones who can resolve it.

Scanning

The app cannot read my card

Scratch the whole panel off first — a strip of unscratched foil across a digit is the most common cause. Then get more light on the card, hold the phone steady, and fill the brackets with the numbers rather than the whole card.

If it still misses, tap the keyboard icon on your network to type the PIN in by hand.

It read a digit wrongly

Tap Edit numbers on the confirm screen and correct it before sending. Always compare the PIN against the card first — the app shows it grouped exactly as the card prints it to make that quick.

It picked up the wrong number

Cards print a serial and a batch number near the panel. The app ignores those, but if one slips through, aim the brackets tighter around the PIN and scan again.

Recharging

On iPhone, nothing happens when I press call

iPhone does not allow any app to run recharge codes on its own, and it can also refuse codes containing a hash from a link. Use the copy button next to the code, paste it into your dialer, and press call.

This is an Apple restriction, not a fault in the app. Android runs the code inside Recharge4Me and shows your network's reply.

Android asks for permission to make calls

Sending a recharge code is technically a phone call, so Android requires that permission before the app can send it for you. Decline it and the app simply opens your dialer instead.

I have two SIMs — which one is used?

When two SIMs are active a Send from row appears above the recharge button. Pick the line you want to credit.

It says the card was already used

The app keeps a record of cards you have sent and warns you before you send one twice. You can still send it — useful if the first attempt timed out and you are not sure it went through.

No reply from the network

The recharge may still have gone through. Check your balance before trying again, so you do not resend a card that already worked.

Installing

Android will not install the APK

Android asks you to allow installs from your browser the first time. When prompted, open Settings, allow it for that app, then tap the downloaded file again.

Which phones are supported?

Android 7.0 and later, and iPhone on iOS 15.5 and later. The text recognition the app relies on needs those versions.

Can you add my network?

Yes — email us the network, the country and the exact recharge string it uses. We verify a code before adding it, because a wrong one would waste a real card.

Send us a message

Never include a full recharge PIN. We cannot use it, and you should not share it with anyone.

Still stuck

Email support@lumitekexchange.co.zw with your phone model, its Android or iOS version, and what happened. If a scan misread a card, the scan report from the app helps most — open the scan screen, tap the magnifier, then copy.

Never send us a full recharge PIN. We do not need it and cannot use it.
